Magnetic bail lock (no springs)

Factory limited drag 30kg (66lb) (bench load test line pressure 40kg (88lb)
10 x SS bearings
4 x ertalyte bearings
Designed to be service free, 3000hrs of 10 Nm of shaft load @ 3000rpm, gear life.
That means 3000 hours of hauling fish before major over haul required
Completely CNC machined from 6061, 7075 and 630 SS materials (no plastic parts, no die cast parts)
Low rotating mass (minimal inertia start up, and stop) (spins up very quickly, and stops instantly without inducing gear stresses)
Dynamically balanced rotor assembly, by specialist turbine manufacturer
Meaning the reels feeling is instantly responsive, and less tiring to use than reels with heavy weighted rotors, without sacrificing strength
And of course designed and made in Australia by Tuff Tackle Pty ltd

FAQ: Can a Hybrid reel be upgraded to a Brawn later on ?
ANS: Yes, The Hybrid 6000 or 8000 can be upgraded to Brawn or Brawn tournament 6000, 8000, 10000, 12000 sizes.
FAQ: How much would it cost to upgrade ?
ANS: Only the cost difference between reels. Eg: Brawn Hybrid - Upgrade to Brawn 6000 = $100
FAQ: Can I change the parts myself ?
ANS: Yes, If you are good with tools, and small parts, and can follow a diagram
FAQ: If I got you to upgrade it, is there any labour charges ?
ANS: No, you just need to send it to us, and pay for the postage. We upgrade it and send it back including your old parts.
FAQ: What, if any advantages are there to upgrading later ?
ANS: A big weight reduction. Lower rotating mass of parts (spins up to full speed alot quicker). More drag
FAQ: How long will it take you to upgrade my Hybrid reel ?
ANS: 2 working days
