New Brawn reels are now starting to come together and will replace all previous reel rangesThe newly designed Brawn reels have been designed to meet demand for a high class, strong, high grade materials reel that is affordable for professional use
Although the Brawn reels are not "cheap" they are "Excellent value for money"
We have taken everything learnt from the tough sniper and diablo reels, and taken the new designs leaps forward
To provide a reel that is not just bomb proof like the proven Australian built sniper, but light weight as well
Previously quality of parts was determined by outside overseas supply and shared R&D, this stage has come to an end due to IP theft and poor quality clones being produced and sold above their actual value
Tuff Tackle's independant quality control resulted in a reject rate of 30% of imported supplies
So Tuff Tackle has now gone from a quality control assembly facility, to actual manufacture of it's own designs
So what is a Brawn reel ?
Brawn reels use the highest possible material grades for the purpose
and the highest possible tolerances in machining
Also including some new and radical designs to increase reliability in spinning reels, with no springs in the bail or drag clicker
as well as a super light weight rotor design, but still made from durable high tensile metal
The end result is a sports car type feeling, super responsive and loads of grunt and reliability
To top it off, the Brawn range uses a modular system, that enabes customers to purchace interchangable parts, to make different size reels, without purchasing a complete new reel
Or simply customise a reel to suit your exact needs
so you retain the most expensive part (the sealed gearbox) and alternate quickly and easily the rotors, spools, arms, handles etc.
With no chance of interfering with the high precision sealed gearbox
Such as the option to change the reels arm length to suit bigger hands or smaller hands etc with a standard allen key
